Printed a quick test case via @shapeways just to see how the buttons and ports lined up…going to have to make some changes and hopefully cut 3/16 on the overall depth but mostly pleased as to how stuff is lining up…

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Found some time this week to spend on this. As often happens I’m happiest with my first design which feels the best to hold. (The white one in the top left corner). These gave me an excuse to try out @shapeways new PLA service. They came out pretty good. #pigrrl #pigrrlzero

Continuing to play with case configs for the latest #raspberrypi portable, this particular version is similar to the #RevoK101 , one of my favorite #gameboy clones…

Finally managed to carve out some time to work on the case for the #pigrrlmicro /#pigrrlzero . Not sure if I want to do something reminiscent of the #gameboymicro or if I want to do something closer to the #RevoK101 or a #gameboymacro both of which I love. Normally I would mock up all three in #chipboard but I’ve had to dust off the little #3dsmax experience I have in order to help on something at work so I figured I’d iterate in max.
